How to write a PTR (primary tangible result)
Here's how to write your primary tangible result:
- Decide who your product is for (Instant Identity - name your target customer will identify with - i.e. mom, dad, writer, soccer player, etc) - when this person hears the name, they know the product must be for them. Name the OBVIOUS target customer.
- What is the result your product creates (value of your product) - what’s the one, big, main benefit for your product? - i.e. “teaches moms to photograph their kids like a pro” - “helps authors get publishing deals” - “provides small business owners with professional graphics for their business”
- Rules:
- Can only have one instant identity (can change up or expand once course takes off)
- Can only have one result (no “and”)
- Must be a tangible result and something you can physically measure when they achieve it.
