Zoom settings for hosting a webinar?

Here are the Zoom settings for presenter view:

  1. Zoom website setting: auto save the chat by going to “settings” —> “meeting chat — auto-save”
  2. In a zoom meeting (even by yourself ahead of time): at the lower left video icon button, press the little up arrow ^ —> “video settings” —> left sidebar “recording” —> choose “record video during screen sharing”
  3. Screen share options: when you click to share screen, choose “advanced” along the top —> “portion of screen” —> adjust green box to what you want to show, everything else going on around will not be screen shared or recorded
  4. To make sure it’s just you and not your attendee’s on recording: click the one big box above your face that when you hover on it, it says “show active speaker view”
